Willard Scott is a Washington, DC mainstay. He was around way before the Great 98 and has moved on to many projects after, including the Today Show. Willard was part of the move by former WMAL management to make WRC more adult sounding. His philosophy on introing Top 40 songs was to keep talking until you heard singing. We've always wanted to throw on an instrumental to see what he would do.
